i wish i would update this more regularly. anyway... it's been a pretty weird couple of weeks. i have a lot to look forward to in the next few though! i figured i'd give you a little sneak peak and what is coming up.

this week i have a few exams & critiques so i've been busy with school things.

on sunday i have a shoot with studio 206 who is shooting clothing by spiral stitching who does amazing latex dresses and pieces. 

and here's a little taste of studio 206's work. 

later that same day i am supposed to shoot with Chelsea Guglielmino who does a lot of work with words & letters that i dig. she is also a fellow student of UArts.

march 2nd i might possibly hopefully please oh please oh please be getting a backstage pass to see muse. that would really make my life. it would be an awesome photo opportunity. & i haven't seen matt bellamy up close for a rather long time. haha hence this flashback:

top model cycle 14 starts on the 3rd which i definitely think is worth mentioning without shame! and i'm stoked that elyse now has cable to watch it on.

alice in wonderland opens on the 5th which i've been looking forward to since they started advertising for it like years ago. what  teases. i plan on getting tickets in advance for this one. trying to see it in 3D!

and march 5th-14th is my spring break!! i plan on trying to fit in shoots of my own and doing as many of them as possible! so if we have talked about it before or if you are interested in modeling for me, let me know! let's set something up.

so far i have 2 for the 8th including a pin-up with my girl gina that i work with

and suicide girl, squeak machine

so that's what i got going on for the next month ish! at least so far.

so my birthday went great... got to see body worlds2 & have a nice meal with my boy. got to hang out with my dad & brothers at a sweet german restaurant the next day, and had a cute little brunch at my mom's the following day..... annnd.... might have had a sushi/ disney dance party last saturday with elyse. i may or may not post pictures from that when i get them judging on how embarrassing they may be. haha. anyway.

i can't help but be captivated by lady gaga's extremely catchy songs lately. i will admit that i even know part of the bad romance music video dance, and have it as my cell phone ring tone. however, i also can't help but notice how directly she has been influenced by some of my favorite models (ex: raquel reed, mosh, audrey kitching) and i SWEAR when i watched beyonce & lady gaga's music video "videophone" i could have sworn beyonce was actually raquel reed for a moment.

granted, some of these might be a stretch. and also, it might be a little bit difficult for lady gaga's style not to remind of me, in some way, of some of the photos of models that i've followed & loved throughout the years. however, i can say for almost all of these that the models photos and styles came even years before lady gaga presented herself to the world as "an original artist".
